From the M6 take
Junction 40 onto the A66 towards Keswick.
Follow the signs through Keswick town centre
to Borrowdale. Once on the B5289 Hazel Bank
is situated 6 miles south of Keswick. Just
before Rosthwaite village turn left over
the little hump-backed bridge.

public transport : |
Main-line
west coast trains to Penrith, bus to Keswick
and then bus 79 to Borrowdale, Rosthwaite
to the end of the drive or taxis.

transport : |
There
is a regular route 79 bus service up the Borrowdale
valley with a stop at the end of the drive
to Hazel Bank. Mountain Goat services also
frequent Borrowdale to venture further afield.

Amenities : |
There
is the Rosthwaite village store just at the
bottom of the drive, a tourist information
centre at Seatoller (2miles). Shops, library,
doctors and dentists, leisure pool, museums
etc in Keswick (6 miles). Launch service on
Derwentwater(3 miles) |
